Materials
Designed and made in Scotland from sustainably sourced solid American oak, hand finished and coated with a protective varnish before the addition of 4 non-slip feet
Similar to European oak, American white oak is more variable in colour, ranging from pale yellow-brown to pale reddish-brown, often with a pinkish tint. The grain is striking and generally straight, highlighted beautifully in the finished product.
